From Cry Baby Cry The king of Marigold was in the kitchen Cooking breakfast for the queen The queen was in the parlour Playing piano for the children of the king Related perhaps? Marigold = Sylvie or Fylvie (Marisa -Miss WinterS-)? ...or the King of Marigold is "just" Geoffrey-Bill? ...and the Maharashi the Thief of Marigold? Excellent The DeZomb ... as always...

The "Thief of Marigold"? What would that mean? Paul (running) looks angry. The Maharishi "stole" his woman? What is the evidence that the Maharishi had anything to do with Sylvie or Maritza? (I'm not sure who the marigold represents.) I had heard that he liked the women, but who was there? Mia Farrow; Jane Asher.... And what of this? videonostalgie.blogspot.com/2006/05/est-ce-que-tu-le-sais.htmlSylvie is definitely a "red marigold" in this clip! "In the beginning of his career Sylvie Vartan was a young brunette lady with a short hair. Believe your or not she started like that and singing rock and roll! I can prove it with the video above. "Est-ce Que Tu Le Sais", released in 1962, was her second single." I can't get to "La Maritza" lyrics in English. Can anyone help with that?

Great find byrds!!! Hey there's more... search.blogger.com/?as_q=vartan&ie=UTF-8&ui=blg&bl_url=videonostalgie.blogspot.comWait here's a bunch more! www.youtube.com/results?search=sylvie+vartan&search_type=search_videosThanks a whole bunch, I've never seen any videos of Sylvie before It's clear the red-haired girl of 1962 is someone totally different than the *cough* woman(?!) of today. BTW, keepvid.com/ will let you save those videos. I can't find La Maritza in English...but here's a Google translation: Maritza it is my river As the Seine is holds it But there is only my father Now which remembers it Sometimes… From my the first ten years There remain to me nothing any more Not the poorest headstock (headstock=memory?) More only a small refrain Of formerly… It ...................... All birds of my river Us sang freedom Me I hardly included/understood But my father knew to him To listen… When the horizon was done too black All the birds left On the ways of the hope And have followed us, In Paris… Spoken: From my the first ten years There remain nothing any more… nothing Sung: And yet closed eyes Me I intend my father to sing This refrain… It ......................

Wow! Thank you for all that! It occurs to me that all of the pictures with the maharishi show Faul. Yet the cartoon of the Maharishi running with the red marigold has (I would guess) Faul running while Paul is hatching from the egg; flapping his wings (arms).... Something is being said here, but I'm not too clear on what. Paul is "flying"; out of touch with reality, while Faul is in the race. In the meantime the maharishi is running off with Jane?

I think all hell's gona break loose. You mean in the world? When I heard that Zarqawi had been killed this morning, what popped into my head was Nostradamus's prediction that shortly after the death of "Mabus" would come "a sudden destruction of men and beasts".** I wasn't even aware that his full name was Abu Musab al-Zarqawi! **Century 2, Quatrain 62 Mabus plus tost alors mourra, viendra, De gens & bestes vn horrible defaite: Puis tout à coup la vengeance on verra, Cent, main, faim quand courra la comete. "Mabus then will soon die, there will come A horrible undoing of people and animals: At once vengeance one will see vengeance, One hundred hands, thirst, famine, when the comet will run." JoJo is sending me a copy of MMT, so perhaps after I've seen it I'll be in a position to opine about the red dot on the woman's hat.
