In 1988, Warner Brothers released a video titled 'Imagine' which focussed on John Lennon - spanning his life and career and showed some of the Imagine recording sessions. There is one particular scene where John and George are having something to eat and are talking about Yoko being a 'Beatle wife' and referring to the Fab 4. Then George corrects John and says 'Fab 3'. Realising his mistake John agrees. Then George asks how someone called Beatle Bill is doing. Beatle Bill? Could he possibly be referring to Paul's alledged replacement Billy Campbell? Here's the sound clue link (You need real player) mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/opd/imaginefilm.rm

Excellent posts about clues...thanks! I am condensing all those here for easy reference.
The Frozen Paul At the very beginning of the film, when the Blue Meanies first attack, there are camera pans over the field as people are turned blue. Then, someone runs directly into view and gets hit, turning blue. Is it me. or does this person look uncannily like Paul McCartney? Why would they show Paul getting hit and turning blue? Unless of course they were trying to tell us something?
The Gravestone The Gravestone 1
During the sequence for the song 'Eleanor Rigby', there is a clip of the submarine flying behind a gravestone. On this gravestone is the phrase 'No. 49 - Here Lies Buried'. Remember this when you realise that Paul has 4 letters in it, and McCartney has 9 letters
The Gravestone 2
Keeping with the gravestone, have you noticed the forename at the very bottom? Yes, it's William. Could this have been a coincidence, or could this have been some kind of small, almost subliminal announcement to the world regarding a new member of the group?
Two Pauls on YS?
When the Beatles are singing "All Together Now" They show a scene with all the Beatles. If you look closely you can see there are 2 Paul's. One coming out of the hatch and one in the control room. Not only that, but they are both copying each others movements. Why would Paul be the only Beatle with a double?
The Bloody Bass Guitar [size=2 In the music video for the song 'Hello Goodbye', Paul is shown using a new bass (A Rickenbacker) and not the characteristic Hofner Viola. If you look closely at the body of the guitar, it is silver but is clearly smeared with blood that has run. This design is very morbid, and so could it maybe be referring to Paul's possible bloody demise?
The unnatural growth spurt. There has been a noticable and un-natural growth spurt in Paul between 1965 and 1967 - somewhere in the region of 2 to 3 inches. This growth is evident on their album covers. Look at the album cover for Help, and then the album cover for Sgt. Peppers and you'll notice just how much Paul grew between the two years. But people have argued that since Paul has his legs apart on the cover of Help, it's actually making him look shorter than he really is. However, it isn't just on these two album covers that the growth spurt is evident.
there are two photographs of Paul with his father Jim. The photo on the left was taken in 1965 whilst the photo on the right was taken in 1972. Both photos show father and sun standing next to each other in a content, relaxed position, yet the photo in 1972 clearly shows that McCartney is now approximately 2 inches taller. In 1965 he was practically at eye-height with Jim, whereas in 1972 Paul's eye level is now as tall as Jim himself. Again, there can be arguements with these two photos. Paul could be wearing platform shoes in the 1972 photo for example, or Paul's father could be stretching up in the 1965 photo to see over the girl in front of him.
It is physically impossible for a man to be able to grow such a height in such a small space of time since the physical growth of the body finishes at the end of the persons teenage years
May 14th, 1968 inerview On May 14th, 1968, John and Paul were guests on the Tonight Show where the guest presenter was Joe Garagiola where they were interviewed. A link to the full transcript www.geocities.com/~beatleboy1/dbtnite.int.html . During this interview, Joe asked Paul what career he thought he would have been doing if he didn't become a Beatle. Whilst thinking, John jumps in with the answer "a policeman". Lost for words, Paul could only reply with "Um, no. Not a policeman". According to the story, William Campbell was working for the Ontario Provincial Precinct police force in Canada before 1966. Could John have been referring to this in this 'joke'? Also, we have to wonder why this show was since then erased from the archives.
