News from my family tell that Paul's corpse was sent into the space with a capsule.

Why though? Do you mean it was John's idea? Someone mentioned Dark Side of the Moon at TKIN!, is that connected?

and if the band you're in starts playing different tunes I'll see you on the dark side of the moonThe music and lyrics for the entire album were written during a seven week period in which the band were preparing for a tour in which they desperately wanted to premier new material. Cue Cards with generic questions were written up by Roger and given to roadies, anyone at Abbey Road, doormen, and members of Wings including Paul and Linda McCartney. Approximately 20 questions were asked along the lines of, "Are you afraid of dying?". "When was the last time you were violent and were you in the right?", and "What does the phrase 'The Dark Side of the Moon' mean to you?". The most spontaneous answers to these questions appeared on the album. Paul and Linda didn't make the cut but Wings' guitarist Henry McColluch did providing the "I don't know I was really drunk at the time" response to the question regarding violent behaviour used at the fade out of Money. The supporting tour featured an almost life size model spitfire airplane which "flew" across the top of the arena and crashed into flames on the stage during the climax of On the Run. from www.pinkfloyd.co.uk/dsotm/content/setup.html

Pigs on the Wing (Part One) (Waters) 1:24
If you didn't care what happened to me, And I didn't care for you, We would zig zag our way through the boredom and pain Occasionally glancing up through the rain. Wondering which of the buggars to blame And watching for pigs on the wing.
Piggies (Harrison) 1:53 Have you see the little piggies crawling in the dirt And for all the little piggies Life is getting worse Always having dirt to play around in
Have you see the bigger piggies In their starched white shirts You will find the bigger piggies Stirring up the dirt Always have clean shirts to play around in
In their sties with all their backing They don't care what goes on around In their eyes there's something lacking What they need's a darn good whacking
Everywhere there's lots of piggies Living piggy lives You can see them out for dinner With their piggy wives Clutching forks and knives to eat their bacon
One more time

Pigs (Three Different Ones) (Waters) 11:26
Big man, pig man, ha ha charade you are. You well heeled big wheel, ha ha charade you are. And when your hand is on your heart, You're nearly a good laugh, Almost a joker, With your head down in the pig bin, Saying "Keep on digging." Pig stain on your fat chin. What do you hope to find. When you're down in the pig mine. You're nearly a laugh, You're nearly a laugh But you're really a cry.
Bus stop rat bag, ha ha charade you are. You fucked up old hag, ha ha charade you are. You radiate cold shafts of broken glass. You're nearly a good laugh, Almost worth a quick grin. You like the feel of steel, You're hot stuff with a hatpin, And good fun with a hand gun. You're nearly a laugh, You're nearly a laugh But you're really a cry.
Hey you, Whitehouse, Ha ha charade you are. You house proud town mouse, Ha ha charade you are You're trying to keep our feelings off the street. You're nearly a real treat, All tight lips and cold feet And do you feel abused? .....! .....! .....! .....! You gotta stem the evil tide, And keep it all on the inside. Mary you're nearly a treat, Mary you're nearly a treat But you're really a cry.

Pigs on the Wing (Part Two) (Waters) 1:27
You know that I care what happens to you, And I know that you care for me. So I don't feel alone, Or the weight of the stone, Now that I've found somewhere safe To bury my bone. And any fool knows a dog needs a home, A shelter from pigs on the wing.

I took a trip On a gemini spacecraft And I thought about you I passed through the shadow of jupiter And I thought about you I shot my spacegun And boy, I really felt blue
Two or three flying saucers Parked under the stars The winding stream Moon shining down On some little town And with each beam The same old dream
I took a trip On a gemini spacecraft And I thought about you I shot my spacegun And I thought about you I pulled down my sun visor Boy, I really felt blue
You jumped into your gemini I jumped into mine We?ll orbit the moon For just one time Tomorrow night Tomorrow night Will you hold hands With me in the moonlight
I took a trip In a gemini spacecraft And I thought about you I shot my spacegun And I thought about you I took I took a walk in space Boy, I really felt blue
Well, I peeked through the crack And I looked way back The stardust trail Leading back to you What did I do What could I do Yes what did I do
Well I thought about you I thought about you Took a trip On a gemini spacecraft Thought about you
David Bowie from the album "Heathen"
Check other lyrics from that album too...!

Watching waiting rising falling Listening calling drifting Touching feeling seeing believing Hoping sending leaving I couldn?t say why you and I are gemini If I tried to write a million words a day I see your shadow coming closer Then watch you drifting away
Watching waiting rising falling Listening calling drifting Touching feeling seeing believing Hoping sending leaving I couldn?t say why you and I are gemini We are travelling a million worlds away I see your shadow coming closer Then watch you drifting away

What do you think of this one, another "space flight" song, but..a Bell helicopter is mentioned as well. A reference to "flying" maybe?
2000 LIGHT YEARS FROM HOME (Jagger/Richards)
Sun turnin' 'round with graceful motion We're setting off with soft explosion Bound for a star with fiery oceans It's so very lonely, you're a hundred light years from home
Freezing red deserts turn to dark Energy here in every part It's so very lonely, you're six hundred light years from home
It's so very lonely, you're a thousand light years from home It's so very lonely, you're a thousand light years from home
Bell flight fourteen you now can land See you on Aldebaran, safe on the green desert sand It's so very lonely, you're two thousand light years from home It's so very lonely, you're two thousand light years from home
THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST

Rocket Man (I Think It's Going To Be A Long Long Time) Elton John/Bernie Taupin
She packed my bags last night pre-flight Zero hour nine a.m. And I'm gonna be high as a kite by then I miss the earth so much I miss my wife It's lonely out in space On such a timeless flight
And I think it's gonna be a long long time Till touch down brings me round again to find I'm not the man they think I am at home Oh no no no I'm a rocket man Rocket man burning out his fuse up here alone
Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids In fact it's cold as hell And there's no one there to raise them if you did And all this science I don't understand It's just my job five days a week A rocket man, a rocket man
And I think it's gonna be a long long time...
