I do not see any real significant difference between those two pics of Viv either. There is a very slight difference in how his nose looks but that could be caused by lights and shadows and the glasses he's wearing. His eyes look the same to me except for the one on the right side of the picture but again that could be caused by the glasses. I am having a little difficulty understanding what this is all about. Is it being suggested that this guy is supposed to be a replacement for Paul McCartney? If he is he looks NOTHING like him to me, and the dates of these pictures are not consistent with the PWR timeline as I understand it. I think if he was a McCartney replacement that he would look more like Paul, or should be the spitting image of him in the years 1968 and 1969. That is assuming Paul was already dead and replaced in late 1966. img232.imageshack.us/my.php?image=vivmc8rp.gifNeither of the pics of Viv resembles Paul/Faul. There is a big difference in the size of the eyes for starters, and Viv's nose is straighter where Paul/Faul's is a little crooked. There is an uncanny resemblence between this guy and James McCartney, no denying that. But that is not enough to base any real opinion on because there are people all around the world who resemble each other and they aren't even related, which is really supposed to be the premise of a replacement for Paul, right? Bill is not really related but he looks sort of like him, or enough like him to fool millions of people. I think the suggestion of James looking enough like him to be his son is a much stronger argument than to say this guy was ever a replacement for Paul at any given time. Perhaps Linda had a romantic interlude with Viv at some point? Outside of that the resemblence between James and Viv would have to be coincidental. Just my opinion. PS. Why don't my images show? I have a really nice Hamer Guitars banner for my signature and the only thing that shows is the codes...and I noticed the pic I tried to post in this comment only shows the code as well. Is this forum rigged to disallow people from showing pics?

Is this forum rigged to disallow people from showing pics? Pictures are allowed here, big signatures are not, so coding is not allowed in sigs. But your avatar is showing ;D I know it can be mind boggling. It sounds to me like you already have a good grasp on things though, you just have a different opinion. I appreciate your interest, however, if Paul's replacement is just a "premise" for you, I don't think you will be comfortable on this forum. You might want to find another forum that is more neutral on this issue.

Aaahhh, ok about the sig. I'm just a really huge Hamer guitars kind of guy and I like to flaunt it About my opinions...yes I am interested to learn the rationale behind your suggestions is all. Your opinion is your opinion and we don't have to be in agreement in order to maintain our civility so if I don't agree I won't be combative about it. I just think it is good for discussion to consider opposing viewponts is all. I'm sure I am quite capable of presenting arguments/discussion on things that you would probably think are totally zaney. I'm here simply for discussion and idea exchange, and maybe to even learn something from the others who post here. At this point I am way behind on my reading of this forum and feel sort of like I'm trying to take a sip of water from a wide-open fire hydrant LOL. I'll be fine here, thanks for your concern and appreciation.

I'll be fine here, thanks for your concern and appreciation. Nah I don't think so. If you had something important to share here you wouldn't be worried about posting an obnoxiously huge signature and already defending the need to "consider opposing viewponts". Bye now!
